HONEY BEE GOLDEN PIZZA BOX

First of all, I need to tell my dear friend Kim Curtis HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!! I thought this beautiful gold pizza box would be a project that is perfect for her, it is simple, yet elegant. And this would make a very special party favor. Love you Kim!

These Gold Pizza Boxes #152068 are another item that has been carried over from the 2019 Holiday Catalog!!! In this project the only stamping I did was the sentiment, the rest of the elements are all die cut from card stock or DSP. Both the bee and flowers are from the dsp. I love when SU makes coordinating products. For the striped DSP band, I did not score the paper prior to wrapping it, I just wrapped the paper around the pizza box the pressed the edges of the box to make a creased edge, easy peasy right?

In this picture you can see all of the different layers to the label. You really can’t tell that I didn’t stamp the bee can you? I die cut a whole sheet of the DSP to have a stack of the bees and flowers so when I am creating projects I have the different elements to work with at hand.

Keep in mind that the only way you can get the Golden Honey DSP is to place an order for $50 in merchandise and you can pick this paper as your FREE item. Use the pictures below to place your order or use the Shop Online tab at the top on this page to place your order today. Please reach out to me if you have any questions about placing an order or items used in this project.

Happy Stamping!

YOU ARE XO-LLENT

Who wouldn’t be excited to recieve this yummy cookie filled treat. I used the Heart Foil Tins from the From My Heart Suite in the 2020 Mini Catalog for this project. These cute heart tins are so much fun and you can bake directly in them. Just think, you could mix up a batch of brownies in the tins to pass out to your friends and family!

To decorate the top of the heart tin I glued one of the Heart Doilies to the center of the lid. I turned over the doily to the back side so I had a white doily instead of Real Red or Flirty Flamingo. Then I punched out one of the hearts from the From My Heart DSP using the scalloped edge heart from the Heart Punch Pack. To finish the lid, I added the tag and a bakers twine bow. Then I moved on to the most important part of this project in my hubby’s eyes…the cookies! I am always on the look out for new cookie recipes to try and when I saw these Bakery Style Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies from Lovely Little Kitchen I just had to try them. I love an soft oatmeal cookie and these were yummy!

Once I finished baking the cookies, I lined the tin with a small piece of red tissue paper and voila you have a super cute treat to pass out. Make sure you save some cookies for yourself. Here is a little tip I use so I always have cookie dough on hand. I freeze cookie dough balls on a cookie sheet and once they are frozen I transfer them to a zip lock bag that I have written the type of cookie, baking temperature and cooking time on the bag. This way my hubby’s can make his own cookies!!!!!

Happy Stamping & Baking!

BE MY VALENTINE

Welcome back! In this card, I continued using the Tags Tags Tags card combined with the From My Heart Specialty DSP. This project was really fast and those are my favorite ones.

I punched a 2″ circle in the DSP and glued it down, then popped up the tag using dimensionals. I threaded a piece of bakers twine through the left side of the tag and wrapped it around the back side of the 4″ x 5 1/4″ DSP layer, then threaded it through the right side of the tag and tied a bow.

The heart at the center of the tag was completed the same way as the last project. I layered the hearts from the Trio of Tags dies and glued the outline of a Flirty Flamingo heart to a large Real Red heart, then added Shimmery Crystal Effects to the center and let dry. Another clean and simple card.

Tomorrow I will have a treat project using the Heart Foil Tins and a yummy recipe for Oatmeal Chocolate Cookies.

Happy Stamping!

I LOVE YOU MORE

I knew when I was making my Christmas tags that I wanted to use Tags Tags Tags for my Valentines projects and I was happy to hear that Stampin’ Up! was caring over this stamp set. What does that mean? Well when SU has an item in a mini catalog and they decide to carry it over, you are still able to order those items even though the catalog sales period is over. That is a win, win for everyone. I get to use the stamps I loved for a longer period of time and you all get to order the items you just didn’t get around to ordering!

In this card I combined the Tags Tags Tags stamp set along with the beautiful From My Heart Specialty DSP. It is hard to see in the pictures, but the hearts on the DSP are raised/embossed in a beautiful iridescent Flirty Flamingo. I embossed a Whisper White layer using the Corrugated 3D embossing folder to add a little more dimension to the card. Then punched a 2″ circle to show the beautiful DSP behind the tag that I embossed in Whisper White.

To get the heart in the center of the tag. I layered the hearts from the Trio of Tags dies and glued the outline of a Flirty Flamingo heart to a large Real Red heart, then added Shimmery Crystal Effects (which is a product that also carried over) to the center and let dry.

I just loved how this card looks simple yet clean. Join me back here on Thursday for another coordinating Valentines Day project.

Happy Stamping!
