HAPPY NEW YEAR

New Years may be all about looking ahead, but I also like to take a few moments to think back on what I was able to accomplish through out the year and what I wasn’t quite able to do. This gives me an opportunity to see what worked and what I can do to make thinks run more smoothly in my ever busy world. One thing I know I can do is to create simple cards like this handsome guy who is all dressed up the big evening.

I stamped the penguin then I stamped the bow tie on a separate piece of cardstock in Poppy Parade ink and fussy cut it out. I used a piece of a dimensional that I cut in fourths to pop up the bow tie. This is a simple yet elegant card anyone would love to receive.

Don’t forget you only have until Jan 2nd to purchase anything in the 2019 Holiday Catalog, so don’t miss out on your favorites like this beautiful Mercury Glass Acetate paper is is stunning!!!!!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS

Merry Christmas from my family to yours 🎄 How ever you celebrate the holidays, may they be filled with family, friends and lots of love  I will be spending time with family this week and will see you all next Tuesday.

From left to right: Shannon, my son Matt’s fiance, my son Matt, my daughter Ciara, my son Mark, my dad and of course me. The hubby is behind the camera.

MY CHRISTMAS CARDS ARE DONE!

Every year I give myself a timeline to complete my holiday projects and then I watch those dates pass by. This year wasn’t any different, so I utilized the Dec Paper Pumpkin Kit into my class and turned them into my Christmas cards.

I created the tags as per the instructions in the Paper Pumpkin Kit, leaving off the sentiment. Then I added card bases and dsp, stamped background or and embossing folder.

Once I place the tags on the card bases, then I added the sentiment and embellishments to complete the cards. I absolutely loved how these cards turned out, don’t you?

If you want to get in on the fun kits that show up on your door step, then follow this link http://bit.ly/GetYourPaperPumkinKitNow to get started with the Feb 2020 kit. Keep in mind that Sale A Bration starts Jan 3rd and you can earn FREE product for every $50 you spend.

CHRISTMAS CRACKERS ARE SO MUCH FUN

Last week Stampin’ Up! posted a video on how to make Christmas crackers. After watching how simple they really were to make, I thought why not I’ll give it a try.

In the video, Cindy is working with a 8 3/4″ x 9″ piece of dsp. Since I have so much 6″ x 6″ dsp, I adapted the project to utilize it. In my project I used 5 5/8″ x 6″ dsp and used the 1/2″ circle punch.

Here are pictures of each cracker

BUNCHES OF TAGS

Where is December going? I was looking at my schedule and realized I am running out of time AGAIN, so I thought I better make up some tags real quick. I absolutely love the Christmas movie Elf and when I spotted this image of course I had to have the Tags Tags Tags bundle. Isn’t it to stinking cute?

Color the stamped images using the blender pens and the ink pads.

Punch the tag bases using the Everyday Label & Pretty Label punches. I found that the Everyday Label Punch matched the Express Your Elf & Bring On The Merry images and the Pretty Label Punch go well with the Season’s Greetings. I adhered the stamped images to the tags bases with dimensionals, then punched a whole and strung the bakers twine and tied a knot and add the embellishments.

This Bundle would be a perfect item to purchase tomorrow during the SU free shipping promotion. See the list below for all the items I used for this project.
