MERRIEST WISHES FROM A PLAYFUL PENGUIN

Wouldn’t you want to receive this cute little guy in your mail? I know I would. I just love this penguin stamp set! This is a good stamp set for beginner stamper since don’t have a lot of coloring needed to make a super cute card.

In this card I stamped the penguin in Tuxedo Black ink, then stamped the scarf and hat on scratch Whisper White cardstock, then fussy cut them out. I know, I know, you guys hate to fussy cut, but these pieces are small and the lines are very easy to cut. Once you have them cut out, glue them down with your favorite adhesive.

On the penguins hat I used the Snowfall Accents Puff Paints to make the puff ball. Isn’t cute? Once you place the puff paint where you want it, use your heat tool to active the puff paint and watch the magic. I have another card I made using this Playful Penguin stamp set for New Years I will show in a couple of weeks.

Today I will also have some news about a special Stampin’ Up! sale. Until then, see the list below for any items you need to order to make this project.

I FEEL BLESSED

Thanksgiving is more than the festivities; it gives us time to ponder what lessons we learned and how we can spread happiness, to look back at all the great memories and good people who came into my life through my Stampin’ Up! world. I appreciate you all so much!

Happy Thanksgiving Day to you and your loved ones.

PERFECTLY PLAID HAND SANITIZER HOLDER

This cute hand sanitizer holder I made using the Perfectly Plaid products would be great for your kiddo’s teachers. We know they go through a lot of sanitizer! This project could be easily adapted to any occasion.

If you need multiples of this project, you can score the full sheet of card stock at 5″ and 6″ on the 11″ side, then cut the card stock into 2″ strips. Each piece of card stock can hold four hand sanitizer holders.

I stock up every year when Bath & Body Works has sales on travel-sized lotions and hand sanitizers. That way, I am always prepared when I need a quick gift. I love to make little travel kits for people.

You can click HERE for the instructions and cardstock dimensions.

SANTA & HIS MERRY REINDEER

What would you like Santa & his merry reindeer to bring you this year? I am lucky enough to have all my kids home with me for Christmas every year, and that in itself is the best gift I could receive.

In this card, I used the Jolly Seasons Dies to create the background, then used the Night Before Christmas Memories & More Card Pack again just because this card kit makes such beautiful cards. I finished the card with a little Linen Thread and a few Real Red Rhinestones.

If you want to make cards using this card pack, click HERE for complete card instructions.

THANKS TO ALL WHO LOVE AND SUPPORT OTHERS

Sometimes, life throws you a few curve balls. Some we hit head-on, and some just hit us. When those times happen, it is heartwarming to see the support and love people in our lives show. This weekend, someone very close to me found themselves in one of those situations, and while my heart is breaking, my heart is also full to see all of the outpouring of love, support, and, of course, sadness for the situation.

I made this project a thank you to all of you who have shown someone in your life the love and support needed to help them through a tough time. Thank You!

The Pizza Boxes are easy to work with and perfect for a couple of cookies or a gift card.

The Perennial Essence DSP is so beautiful you could frame it as art for your home. I love the colors in this paper.

I hope you enjoyed this project. Just remember that what seems like a small gesture on our part sometimes means the world to someone else. The complete instructions for this project are HERE.
