I BELIEVE IN SANTA, DO YOU?

Hello, my friends! I believe in Santa, do you? Next to celebrating my kid’s birthdays, Christmas is my favorite time of year!!!! I usually make myself wait until after Thanksgiving to decorate my home, but my lifelong dear friend Kim Richard, who also happens to be my hair guru since 1986, has shown me the error of my thinking. When I went for my hair appointment last week I was pleasantly surprised that her shop is already decorated for Christmas, and I thought why not, if the Christmas season makes me so happy why not enjoy it a little longer. So this week I am going to start decorating for Christmas!!!!!!!!

I love the simplicity of this card, and it says it all. Yes, we believe in Santa!

To make Santa’s hat even more of the focal point, I used the Ice Stampin’ Glitter to highlight the brim and ball of his hat. This glitter is one of my favorite items in the holiday catalog; it gives you that bling look without the mess of traditional glitter.

Now, I am off to finish my prep work for my monthly card class tomorrow morning. Ta-ta for now, and see you back here Thursday.

More NBc Christmas Cards

Welcome back! I have more NBC (Night Before Christmas Memories & More Card Pack) Christmas cards for you today. In this card I combined the card pack with the Holly Jolly Christmas Bundle. It is still a quick card with minimal stamping.

To make the stocking, I stamped the image in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored it with my blends. The tree was colored with Mossy Meadow, Bronze for the trunk, and Daffodil Delight for the star. The stocking was colored using Cherry Cobbler. Then, I adhered it to the sentiment layer using dimensionals. Tie a bow using two layers of linen thread and adhere with a small dab of glue or mini glue dots.

As you can see, this was another quick Christmas Card. I love keeping it simple this time of year. I always seem to run out of time to finish my holiday to-do list. These quick and simple cards should help me get a little closer to my goals.

If you need any help or have any questions, please let me know. I’ll be glad to help. Complete instructions for this project are HERE.

CHRISTMAS CARDS USING THE MEMORIES & MORE CARD PACKS

Christmas card-making has never been easier! By using this Night Before Christmas Memories & More Card Pack that is part of the Night Before Christmas Suite of products, you can make dozens of card combinations.

One thing that is nice about this card pack is that you don’t have to stamp if you don’t want to. For example, in this card, I used two different 4″ x 3″ cards from the pack, added some ribbon, and then accented the berries using Shimmery Crystal effects. Easy peasy.

In this picture, you can clearly see where I placed the Shimmery Crystal Accents on the berries. It is such a small thing to do, but it delivers a big impact on the card.

Over the next few weeks, I will focus on Christmas Cards. I will also post more samples using the Night Before Christmas Memories & More Card Pack so you can see how I used the card pack. I want to make sure you all have lots of inspiration for creating your own Christmas cards.
