THE RETIRED LIST IS HERE!

It is that time of the year when we say goodbye to our favorite stamps, DSP, ribbons, accessories, and the 18-20 In Colors. Boy, oh boy will is miss Lovely Lipstick, what an excellent color! As most of you know, the accessories sell out fast, so get yours while you can, don’t think you can go back tomorrow and order that ribbon you love so much, it might be gone.

As a Stampin’ UP! Independent Demonstrator, I get asked, what are the items you will miss the most? Here are the top 15 items I am sad to see go (White Bakers Twine).

I can’t believe my White Bakers Twine is on the list frown, I use that ALL the time. Make sure you check my Online Store to see what Products are still available now through June 2nd, Items on this list are while supplies last, except for stamps sets.

Last Chance List

This retiring products list contains items from the 2019–2020 Annual Catalog, and the January–June 2020 Mini Catalog. Products are only available until June 2, 2020, or while supplies last.

BIRD BALLAD DSP

Hello Everyone! I am back from non-stop mask making. I was able to get 67 more masks completed over this last weekend and I have fabric for 28 more, whew! I have several family members who live in Sonoma County and they are required to wear masks at all times when outside of their homes, so I am making the masks as fast as I can.

For my first foray into card making after a two-week hiatus, I thought I would keep it simple and clean. I love the lines and images in the Bird Ballad DSP, Stampin’ UP! did a beautiful job on this suite of products. I decided to cut out some of the bird clusters from the DSP to make my cards.

I absolutely LOVE the way these cards turned out. They are simple yet stunning! Once I cut out my bird clusters, I arranged them on the cardbase later to find the placement I liked, then I stamped the sentiment, before adhering the birds with dimensional. I try to always stamp the sentiment first when stamping directly to the cardbase layer, that way if I mess up the sentiment, I can just grab another piece of cardstock and restamp instead of having to cut off the birds and start over.

If you would like to make this card, keep in mind that the Stampin’ UP!’s retired list will be released April 22nd and all DSP, ribbon, embellishments, and 18-20 In Color Products products are usually while supplies last. So click on the Shop Online link at the top of this page, and place your orders today and don’t miss out on your favorites.

Happy Stamping!

HELLO

Sorry for the lack of posts these last two weeks. After the strong suggestion that we all wear masks when outside or in a store, I have switched from card making to mask making. So far, I have made and handed out 52 masks to family, friends, and neighbors (I know, I know, it doesn’t sound like a lot, but I am not an avid sewer, so I am not the fastest at it). I have been held up while waiting patiently for more of the headbands I am using instead of elastic, and they just arrived!!!! Now I can finish the 100 more I have ready to finish.

I decided to set up my mask making assembly line at my dining room table. I figured if I was going to be sewing for 12 hours a day, I should have a beautiful view, right? And yes, I was watching The Masked Singer while I sew. I thought it was a fitting show to watch while I was making masks. sealed

These two beauties modeling the masks I made are my nieces Hannah and Jessica. They were kind enough to send me a selfie.

Well, I am off now to keep working on masks. I plan to start back with my regular blog postings next week. I think it will feel good to get back to a “normal” routine again. Until then, keep crafting; it does help soothe your soul.

Happy Stamping (or mask making)

BE STRONG, BE YOU, BE HAPPY

Need a quick masculine card? Here it is. This card was super fast and looks elegant at the same time. I pulled out my Rooted In Nature stamp set to create this card after I realized I had yet to do a single project with it. This stamp set it to pretty to leave in a drawer. Do yourself a favor and dust it off, and start creating!

I started with a Night of Navy card base and added layers of Soft Suede and Whisper White. To stamp the leaves, I used Sahara Sand to stamp the large leaves and Soft Suede and Night of Navy for the smaller leaves.

As you can see in the picture above, I stamped the sentiment in Night of Navy, then cut the stamped image into three separate pieces. Once they were cut apart, I added them using a dimensional I cut in half to complete the card front. So simple, yet elegant, right?

This is a stamp set that should be part of your crafting arsenal, think of it as an updated replacement for Lovely As A Tree. Yes, it is an investment, but it will be so worth it never having to scramble trying to figure out what stamp set to use to make a guy card.

Thanks for stopping by today and please be well and stay safe.

Happy Stamping!

THIS IS A SAD, SAD, DAY

Today is a sad day in the Stampin’ Up! world, it is the last day of the huge Sale-A-Bration promotion. You have until 11:59 PM (MT) to complete your very last order for this year’s Sale-A-Bration. One of the items you can choose is the ever beautiful Flowering Foils DSP. This DSP is, by far, my favorite product for this promotion.

This card, I used Highland Heather, Calypso Coral, Old Olive, and Daffodil Delight Stampin Blends to color the flowers, then I fussy cut them out. So beautiful, right!

For this card, I used a sponge dauber to color the flower and Stampin Write Markers to color the full sheet of DSP, then cut the sheet in 3″ x 4″ strips for the card fronts.

I used the Flowering Foil DSP as a background in the card and used the Poppy Moments Dies to create the flowers.

This paper is so versatile for projects, and did I mention beautiful! I have ordered two more packs myself, so don’t miss out on yours. You can click on the Shop Online tab at the top of this page to enter my store.

Thanks for stopping by today, and see you soon. May you and your family stay safe and well

Happy Stamping!
