Sorry for the lack of posts these last two weeks. After the strong suggestion that we all wear masks when outside or in a store, I have switched from card making to mask making. So far, I have made and handed out 52 masks to family, friends, and neighbors (I know, I know, it doesn’t sound like a lot, but I am not an avid sewer, so I am not the fastest at it). I have been held up while waiting patiently for more of the headbands I am using instead of elastic, and they just arrived!!!! Now I can finish the 100 more I have ready to finish.

I decided to set up my mask making assembly line at my dining room table. I figured if I was going to be sewing for 12 hours a day, I should have a beautiful view, right? And yes, I was watching The Masked Singer while I sew. I thought it was a fitting show to watch while I was making masks.

These two beauties modeling the masks I made are my nieces Hannah and Jessica. They were kind enough to send me a selfie.

Well, I am off now to keep working on masks. I plan to start back with my regular blog postings next week. I think it will feel good to get back to a “normal” routine again. Until then, keep crafting; it does help soothe your soul.
