THANK YOU BERRY MUCH

I have had so much fun working with the Witty-cisims stamp set. The images are just too stinking cute, don’t you think? I like stamp images that help you create quick cards and this stamp set is definitely one of those.

Did you know that you can make any color of ribbon or bakers twine you want? All you need is a silicone crafters mat, a Stampin’ Blend and your twine or ribbon. Just lay your twine down on the craft mat and run your Stampin Blend along the twine to color it making sure to roll it to all sides to get everything colored. I make extra colored twine and wrap it around a coordinating color of cardstock so I know the color. The ink from the blends will wash off your craft mat with warm soapy water.

Once your twine is dry, you can finish this card.

This was a fast card to put together and would be great for making multiples. I was able to finish it all in 20 minutes. You could color a bunch of twine ahead of time so you will be ready to assemble cards. I will definitely be posting more projects from this suite soon. Click on the link below to get the full instructions and dimensions for creating this card.

Thanks for stopping by today and see you soon.

I CAN’T THANK YOU ENOUGH

Since reviving my Stampin’ Up! business last August after moving back home to California and surviving the intensive two-year remodel of our home. I’m humbled by the overwhelming response and love I have received from you. It is terrifying to put yourself and your creative product out there for anyone to judge. And judge they will, as you have probably experienced on social media, that people can be cruel and mean-spirited while hiding behind their mobile devices. I am so grateful, and I thank you for your kind words and the outpouring of support you all have shown me!

I created this card with you all in mind. I started with a Lovely Lipstick cardbase and added a layer of the Best Dressed DSP. I wrapped a piece of Lovely Lipstick grosgrain ribbon that I wrapped around twice, tied a bow to the right side of the DSP, and adhered to the cardbase with dimensionals. Next, I cut out two die-cut pieces using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies, one in Lovely Lipstick and the other in Whisper White for the sentiment.

To stamp the sentiment, I first stamped the image in Petal Pink Ink and then colored the “Thank You” using my Lovely Lipstick Stampin Write Marker. Before stamping the sentiment onto the Whisper White die-cut, ensure you huff onto the ink to remoisten it. Glue down the sentiment to the Lovely Lipstick die-cut and adhere the layers with dimensionals to the DSP. I added a couple of Glitter Enamel Dots to finish the card, just because I can.

If you want to make this card, keep in mind that Sale-A-Bration is still going on, but you only have until March 31st to earn your favorites that are still available. LOOKIN’ SHARP

Hey, y’all! I earned this Stone 3D Embossing Folder from the Stampin’ Up! Sale-A-Bration that’s going on right now through March 31st. Since I earned it, I have to use it, so I thought this cactus image would be a perfect match for creating a card.

I used Sahara Sand card stock and the cardbase and the embossed layer. I then added a strip of Melon Mambo (Brights) DSP. I colored the cactus with my Mossey Meadow Stampin Blends and added the flowers with Melon Mambo ink.

I added some Shimmery Crystal Effects to the flowers. If you are in a hurry you can leave that sep off and you will still have a super cute card. While the crystal effects are drying, I took a 4 1/2″ strip of Braided Linen Thread and frayed both ends and glued down to the center of the DSP.  After the flowers are dry, I adhered it with dimensionals to the center of the DSP over the ribbon.

If you want to earn this embossing folder #152318 Power of Hop Bundle for FREE, click on the Shop Online link at the top of this page and place an order for $100 worth of merchandise. Keep in mind that if your wish list is over $100, consider getting the starter kit, it is only $99 and you get to pick $125 of any products you want. UNDER MY UMBRELLA AND PLEASED AS PUNCH DSP

Welcome back! This past weekend I was playing around with the Pleased As Punch DSP and Under My Umbrella stamp set and came up with these two quick cards. I just love the colors in the DSP, they are so cheery.

I punched out a whole sheet of umbrellas and umbrella handles from the DSP before I got started. Now I have a container full of umbrella parts to work with while designing a project. Another thing I do to as a time saver, I stamped and colored a sheet of flowers and rainboots so I have extras for more cards. I put the extra piece in a ziplock bag and keep then with the stamp set.

For this card, I placed the umbrellas first using dimensionals, then glued the handles to the DSP. The flowers are glued to the umbrella as well.

Love the colors!

For this card, I also placed the umbrella on the card using dimensionals, then glued down the handle to the DSP.

In this picture, you can see how I colored the flowers with my Stampin’ Blends. It’s so pretty! After I stamped and colored the sheet of flowers I fussy cut them out and glued the flower to the card stock.

You will be seeing more cards with this stamp set very soon. It is so much fun to work with!

Happy Stamping!
