Howdy! I am so happy with these cards, what do you think? The colors are so beautiful in each one and the watercolor background was the perfect touch to accent the birthday cake! I started out by first stamping and coloring my cake images with my Stampin’ Blends (see below for a list of Stampin Blends used). Once I had them all colored and die cut I created the watercolor wash on the cake background suing re-inkers and an Aqua Painter. It really created a soft and subtle background, don’t you think? On the cardbase, I stamped the Happy Birthday image in a continuous pattern in two rows at the top and bottom. Then I added the DSP and wrapped the bakers twine around the DSP and tied a bow.
