Hello, my beautiful friends. I hope this Tuesday morning is a glorious one where you call home, here in Napa, it is going to be a lovely 81°, perfect weather to enjoy nature. I love springtime, well I guess everything except the allergies, the flowers are blooming, the bees are pollinating everything, and the birds are chirping. The DSP pack from the Bird Ballad Suite is the ideal paper for springtime projects, the colors are scrumptious, and the line drawings remind me of sketches we did in art classes. I started with a card base of Crumb Cake, which is my go-to color of choice; it is a versatile color that blends with most other colors perfectly! To the Crumb Cake cardbase, I added another Crumb Cake layer 4″ x 5 1/4″), then the DSP (3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″). To that, I added the Petal Pink DSP strip (1 1/4″ x 4 1/4″) and the sentiment that I punch out using Label Me Fancy punch and add a Petal Pink bow to finish it off the card. Super fast and simple project.
