I don’t know about you all, but it seems like once October hits, it is Christmas, and I am wondering where the time went. With that in mind, I will focus on cards and projects using the #simplestamping concept. What does that mean? I is the SIP method o Stamps, Ink & Paper. I will be posting projects utilizing this method throughout the rest of the year. Here is the first card using the beautiful Painted Harvest stamp set from the Annual Catalog.
On this card, I stamped the leaves onto the 2 3/4″ x 4″ Whisper White card stock. Stamp the leaf base in Pear Pizzaz, then the leaf detail in Old Olive. I stamped the sunflower on a 2 1/2″ x 2 1/2″ Whisper White card stock, the first layer in Crushed Curry, the second layer in Cajun Craze, then the center in Early Espresso. Cut out using paper snips. Adhere over the stamped leaves using dimensionals and make sure you leave room for the sentiment at the top. Then, stamp the sentiment in Early Espresso above the sunflower.
The fussy cutting took the longest on this card. You could also stamp the image directly on the cardstock and omit the cutting altogether.
I have typed up a complete set of cardstock dimensions and instructions for you to follow. You will find the instructions HERE.
Happy Stamping!
