WELL I WENT AND DID IT GOOD NOW
Hey everyone, I hope you have been busy creating amazing cards! Over the last weekend, I went on a camping trip to see my dad at Indian Grinding Rock State Park in Jackson, CA. Where he has been a camp host for the last few months and loving it. When we arrived and were pulling into our campsite I, proceeded to slip on some leaves and pine needles, and on my way down the slope, I caught my left leg and broke my tibia, fibula, and ankle. I have had one surgery to place an external fixation system on my leg to keep the bones temporarily in place. I go back in tomorrow morning for another extensive surgery to reconstruct my lower leg and ankle. So as you can probably guess, I will be out of commission for 2 – 3 weeks while figuring out my new life. I am in for a long healing process, but I am already looking forward to getting back in my craft room, creating more color challenges and mystery stamping projects for you. Please keep me in your thoughts while I go through my surgery and rehab, and I will check in with you all later.

MY FIRST HALLOWEEN CARD OF THE YEAR
Hey everyone, and welcome back to my little crafting corner. This week is a big week of firsts for me in my business. Yesterday I hosted m very first Color Challenge that will be hosted every Monday on my This Crafters Dream Facebook page. Thursday, I will be hosting my first Mystery Stamping event on my TCD Facebook group page (see more info at the bottom of this post). And Today, I have posted my first Youtube video showing you how to make my cute Halloween card shown here!!! It has been a busy couple of weeks!

I wanted to make this card simple since I was attempting to demonstrate it in my first video. I was super happy with how the card turned out. I used the Everyday Essentials Stamp Set, Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends, and a little bit of my favorite accessory, Linen Thread! To see how I made this card, you can watch the video below.
See, now wasn’t that a quick and simple card. And I promise, will get better and better at making the videos. I had planned on making three of them yesterday, but I thought I would see how long it takes me to upload and edit before I filmed anymore. Boy, am I glad I stop at the one video unit l get the hang of the editing and uploading .
I am going to sign off for now, I have more videos to film for you. Until next time, keep crafting.
Happy Stamping!

WELCOME TO MY FIRST COLOR CHALLENGE #TCDCC1
Hello, my friends! Welcome to my first Color Challenge #TCDCC1! Thanks for joining me. Every Monday at 9 am PST. I will post a weekly Color Challenge for you all to play along with. My This Crafters Dream Facebook Page will host the color challenge, so it is easier to share your projects. Once you have completed your project using the colors given in that weekly challenge, post your project to the comments over on my Facebook Page using the hashtag #tcdcc1 (for example). I will randomly pick one winner each week and announce the winner on Fridays. Each winner will get the card I made for the color challenge that week and an additional surprise mailed to them.
Here is this week’s combo.

Basic Black, Bermuda Bay, Calypso Coral, and Daffodil Delight
Here is my project using this week’s color challenge.

I used the Forever Fern Stamp Set for my color challenge project and stamped the different leaf images using Bermuda Bay, Calypso Coral, and Daffodil Delight inks. The stamped layer is backed with Basic Black cardstock, then placed on a Bermuda Bay cardbase. I added a strip of Calypso Coral cardstock between the bottom edge of the leaves and the sentiment and, of course, added a bow made from Linen Thread!
To be eligible for the giveaway, create a NEW card or project using the Stampin’ Up! colors above, and then go to my TCD Facebook Page to add your name and a project in the comments using the hashtag for this current challenge, #tcdcc1. This challenge is open until the winner is announced on the following Friday at 9:00 am PST (Sept 11th). Now get creating!!!!
Thanks for playing along. I can’t wait to see the projects you all come up with!
Happy stamping!
