I had so much fun creating this slim card for the TGIF Challenge #tgifc304! Working with the artwork designed in the Touch Of Ink Stamp Set makes it simple to create beautiful cards like this one! The challenge this week was to use a Sale-a-Bration product 🗹.

I started with a Balmy Blue card base for this card and used Balmy Blue, Flirty Flamingo, Mango Melody, Early Espresso, and Garden Green inks to stamp the images onto This Basic White cardstock.

In this photo, you can see the dimension the added layers create. I added some Shimmery Crytal Effects to the butterfly wings just because I could.

I created the video below showing how I put this card together, and I share a couple of tips to make your card have depth through ink.

TCDCC15 - Color Challenge Swatches - Corner Bouquet Stamp Set - Stampin' UP!

In honor of Mardi Gras, this week’s Color Challenge colors are Garden Green, Gorgeous Grape, And Crushed Curry.

This card turned out so festive. I love it! Especially those super cute Ladybug Trinkets, I think they make this card so special. You can watch the video below to see how I completed this card.

Now wasn’t that card was easy to make? Using the Rectangle Postage Stamp Punch to highlight parts of a stamped image an easy way to add interest to your card. You can also use Designer Series Paper for the same effect. Just punch out your rectangles in a row, and the images will look like they are a continuation of one scene.

IT’S TIME FOR TCD COLOR CHALLENGE #TCDCC14

Hey Everyone! It is time for the next installment of my This Crafters Dream Color challenge #tcdcc14! This week I am working with the beautiful Dragonfly Garden Bundle from Stampin’ Up!

To play along, complete your project using the colors given in the weekly challenge and post your project to the comments over on my TCD Facebook Page using the hashtag #tcdcc14. I will randomly pick one winner each week on Sunday. Each winner will get the card I made for the color challenge that week and an additional surprise mailed to them. This week’s Color Challenge colors are Crumb Cake (my favorite color, it goes with everything!!!), Soft Sea Foam, Rich Razzleberry, and Basic Black.

Dragonfly Garden Stamp Set_Stampin' Up! _TCD Color Challenge_#tcdcc14

I haven’t played with this Dragonfly Garden Bundle very much, so I thought I would use it for this week’s color challenge. I liked how the flowers in the background have a subtle look and are not too bold. I stamped the flower stalks using the Crumb Cake Ink to create this soft look, then colored them in using a Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Write Marker for the leaves. The flowers I colored in using a Rich Razzleberry Water Color Pencil. I am not sure if you can see it very well in this picture. Still, After I colored the dragonfly using the same Soft Sea Foam marker and Rich Razzleberry Water Color Pencil, I added a layer of Wink Of Stella to replicate the shimmery wings of a dragonfly. I won’t go into too much detail on cardstock dimensions or other details in this post. HEARTS & KISSES FOR TCD COLOR CHALLENGE

Hey everyone! Today I have a quick Valentine’s Day lollipop holder I made using the Hearts & Kisses Stamp Set and matching Kiss punch from Stampin’ Up! for my TCD Color Challenge. I paired these items up with the True Love Designer Series Paper from the Love You Always Suite. I love this paper! It is black & white, so you can add your own color as needed to match any project you are making. I like versatile products, don’t you? This True Love DSP definitely fits that bill!

Hearts & Kisses TCDCC13 - TCD Color Challenge

In honor of Valentine’s Day, this week’s TCD Color Challenge colors are Real Red, Basic White, and Basic Black.

Can you see how the flowers have some red to them? I used my Blending Brushes and Real Red Ink to add a hint of color to the flowers’ centers. You could use your Stampin’ Blends or Stampin’ Write markers if you would like a more solid colored image.

Here is a peek at the inside of the treat holder. The Lip image from the Hearts & Kisses Stamp Set was a perfect match for my lollipops I found at my local Marshalls/Home Goods Store.

SWEET STRAWBERRY CLASS TO GO NOW AVAILABLE

Create these fun and cheery cards using the Sweet Strawberry Bundle of products located in the new Jan-June 2021 Catalog. We will use the Sweet Strawberry Stamp Set and Strawberry Builder Punch from Stampin’ Up! to make eight beautiful cards using the stamps and punch along with the Brights 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper Stack.

Additional product you will need for this class:

Granny Apple Green, Poppy Parade, Pacific Point, Coastal Cabana, and Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Up! Ink Pads
Adhesives required for these projects include Stampin’ Seal or Tombo Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Mini Stampin Dimensionals, and Mini Glue Dots.
Tools needed for these projects are, Bone Folder, Paper Trimmer, Take Your Pick Tool, and Scissors.

The class kits will include four project kits to make 2 of each card designs and the full step by step PDF instructions. Each class kit will arrive on your doorstep sorted and organized by the project. All the scoring and cutting of cardstock is done for you (except those items that need to be done with your Strawberry Builder Punch & cutting your DSP).

We will meet in a Zoom session on Saturday, March 6, 2021, at 11:00 am PST to complete the projects together. If you cannot attend the Zoom session at that date and time, I will email you a link to the session’s video recording to follow along with at a more convenient time for you.

You can add any ink pads, adhesive, or tools you may need by emailing me the items at registration, and I will send you a surprise in your Class To Go Kit.

This class to go has three options:

Option #1 – $61.25

This is the full class to-go kit. Included items are:

This is the Class To Go Kit for those of you that already own the Sweet Strawberry Bundle. You will need them to complete your projects, so only choose this option if you already own them or plan to use an alternate stamp and die set you own. Items included in this option are:

1 package of Brights 6″ x 6″ DSP Stack 40 sheets: 2 each od 2 double-sided designs in 10 colors
1 Linen Thread 15 yards
1 package Opal Rounds 100 pieces: 50 each of two sizes
Four make and take packages with envelopes to make 8 cards – 2 of each card design

All kits ship Priority Mail for $ 8.00. This includes tracking and insurance. If you are in the Napa area, you can save on shipping and opt for a contactless porch pick up.

Registration for this Class To Go will close on February 17. I expect to ship the kits on or before February 25.

All class kits and included products will be ordered and prepared after the registration deadline. This is a preorder only, and per Stampin’ Up! policy, I do not have the product on hand ready to ship. It usually takes a week to get my product order and cut and prep, and ship all the class kits once the class registrations close. I can only ship my class kits within the United States. Anyone can purchase the PDF project sheet.
