Hello there! I am a bit behind on putting together my Paper Pumpkin Kits (PPK), so I worked on March & April’s kits Sunday while the hubby went on a motorcycle ride. The March 20 No Matter The Weather PPK is my favorite kit Stampin’ UP! has ever put together! You can see why in the pictures below.
These three samples are the cards that you create using the instructions included in the Paper Pumpkin Kit. The March kit included the following:
- Kit contains supplies for 12 cards and envelopes (4 cards of 3 designs)
- Notecard size: 5″ x 3-1/2″ (12.7 x 8.9 cm)
- Envelope size: 5-1/8″ x 3-5/8″ (13 x 9.2 cm)
- No Matter the Weather Photopolymer Stamp Set
- Spring Splash Photopolymer Stamp Set (Free)
- Baker’s twine
- Rain & dew drop embellishments
- Basic Grey Stampin Spot
- Dimensionals
- Adhesive dots
The coordinating colors were: Balmy Blue, Basic Gray, Calypso Coral, Grapefruit Grove, Gray Granite, Pear Pizzazz, Petal Pink, Shaded Spruce, and So Saffron.
That’s a lot of stuff!
In this alternate card, I cut apart the rain boot die-cut and used the Balmy Blue boots and paired them up with the flower die-cut, and Petal Pink tag, that I stamped a sentiment using Baric Gray ink. In the kit, you get a whole sheet of super cute rain & dew drop embellishments to play with, and boy did I have fun with them on this card!
For the next three alternate cards, I cut the card fronts off of the card bases included in the PPK and glued a 5″ x 3 3/4″ Balmy Blue Layer to the finished card front, then added that to an A2 Pear Pizzazz card base using dimensionals. On this alternate card, I stamped raindrops all over, then stamped the water puddle image to the bottom of the card, both stamps I used Balmy Blue Ink. I used the Pear Pizzazz rain boots that I had cut apart from the die-cut on the previous sample and popped them up with dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment in Balmy Blue Ink on to a piece of 1/2″ x 2 5/8″ Whisper White cardstock, then added the heart stamp image to the right edge using Petal Pink ink. I then tied the bakers twine included in the kit around the sentiment three times and made a bow. I adhered the sentiment with dimensionals.
For this Alternate card, I glued down the rain boots and hearts, then I stamped the sentiment in Basic Gray ink. I cut the palm frond off the flower die-cut, and added it to the bottom edge of the rain boots using dimensionals, then I finished the card off with another bow made from the bakers twine.
For this last alternate sample, I stamped cloud images in Whisper White Craft ink, then stamped the sentiment in Basic Gray ink after the white ink was dry. I used dimensionals to pop up the large rain boot & daffodil die-cut, two more of the rain boot die-cut I fussy cut apart for earlier cards, and the cute bunny. I then glued another bow to the bunny’s neck, and I was done!
This was a fun PPK to play around with! I would love to see what alternative projects you came up with if you have this Paper Pumpkin Kit. Feel free to add them in your comments below.
