Hello Everyone! I love, love, love this time of the year and all of the beautiful fall colors surrounding us. Sometimes the best place to find color combinations is by looking right outside of your window and see what Mother Nature has ready for you. I have beautiful Fuchsia plants with their deep purple and muted red flowers, and behind them are trees with green and golden yellow leaves. So that is where I started my card I have for you today.
I used the Life Is Beautiful stamp set and Blackberry Bliss, Poppy Parade, Crushed Curry, Shaded Spruce, and Early Espresso inks to create the stamped images. Don’t you love the birdhouse hanging in the tree? Such a sweet element to the stamp set.
A quick tip: If you take the inked leaf image and rotate it before you stamp this will help you end up with leaves looking more natural when using more than one color for leaves.
This was a fast card to put together, and it would be great to send family and friends for Thanksgiving this year.
