Hello Everyone! I hope you are planning on getting your tacos today, if not then here is a cute little taco I created for you. I love the images in the Witty-cisims Stamp Set. Who wouldn’t love this Taco’ bout Awesome image? Â
My goal was to keep the colors in the card light and bright. I think I hit that on the nose. I used Granny Apple Green over Old Olive since it is a more vibrant shade of green (almost the color of iceberg lettuce). I also paired Daffodil Delight and Real Red.
As you can see in the picture above, I offset the Real Red & Daffodil Delight layers behind the taco image. When I was working on the layering for the taco, just stacking the layers like the normal look too blah, so I started to play with the layers and whala, we have a more interesting layout!
To create bakers twine in any color, all you need is a Stampin Blend in your desired color and a silicone crafting mat. Just run your Blends along the twine, making sure you are rotating the twine to color all sides. Let this dry for five minutes and it will be ready to use. I always make a little extra colored twine, then I wrap the twine around a small piece of coordinating cardstock to help me know which color it is.
Let me know if you have any questions or need help placing your order.
Happy Stamping!
