Today It’s a rainbow of happiness! Oh, how I love this Rainbow of Happiness stamp set from Stampin’ Up! I knew the first card I would make with my new catalog product was going to this Rainbow of Happiness Bundle, along with the coordinating Sunshine & Rainbow DSP in the Spring 2022 Sale-A-Bration catalog!!! I love this DSP. It is so stinking cute! And the best part, you can earn it for free until February 28th!
This card is super cute, right? Well, it is also a fairly fast card to put together. I let the Sunshine & Rainbows DSP do most of the work for me.
I started with a Thick Basic White A2 card base (8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ folded in half) to make this card. Glue down a 3 1/2″ x 4 3/4″ Granny Apple Green cardstock to the front center of the Thick Basic White cardbase. Using the Brilliant Rainbow Dies, I die-cut the rainbow cutout to a 3 1/4″ x 4 1/2″ Basic White cardstock. I then added a 2 3/4″ x 2″ piece of rainbow-striped DSP from the Rainbow Of Happiness Designer Series Paper using Stampin Dimensional to achieve dimension. Add these layers to the center of the card front using more Stampin’ Dimensionals. Can you tell I LOVE dimensionals? I die-cut three clouds out of Balmy Blue cardstock, and I added some shading to the clouds by swiping some Balmy Blue Stampin’ Blend ink to each one before I added them to the card front using, yes, dimensionals. Stamp your sentiment using Granny Apple Green ink. And lastly, I flicked some Wink of Stella all over the front of the card to add some sparkle!                     Â
Now, remember, friends, don’t let friends send naked envelopes! I always decorate my envelope to match the card. Here I added some coordinating DSP to the flap of the envelope. Please make sure you pay attention to which way your paper pattern is facing before you glue it to the envelope, so your paper isn’t upside down like mine is. Oh well, there are no mistakes in crafting, right?

Now I am off to finish packing for a trip to Maui. I am so excited to go on a real vacation with my hubby, but I forgot how much work goes into prepping. You need a breather before your vacation, LOL! I think the work will be worth relaxing in a nice quiet condo for 9 days!
