Happy Thursday! Are you a coffee or tea drinker? I’m a tea girl. My favorite thing to do in the morning is to grab my big mug of hot tea and read my book for the hour it takes me to wake up and be functional in the morning. My hubby says sometimes it takes longer…shhh don’t tell him I can be good to go in 15 minutes . And now, this brings me to the project I have for you today. I broke out my new Press On Stamp Set to create this fun and fast card for you.

For the card, I started with a cardbase of one of my favorite colors, Night Of Navy, and added another layer of Night Of Navy that was stamped with the coffee bean clusters in the same color of ink. To that, I added the two layers of overlapped DSP. I stamped the teacup in Memento Black Ink since I am coloring with my Stampin’ Blends, which are alcohol markers. After I colored the image, I used the swirls from the Celebration Tidings Stamp Set for the teacup steam. Stamp the heart using VersaMark Ink since we don’t have Purple Posy ink and cut it out. Stamp the sentiment, and you are done! You can get a PDF of the complete list of instructions and cardstock dimensions by clicking HERE.

I found some Dark Chocolate Espresso Beans at my local Lucky grocery store to fill this cute rectangle Tin that I decorated to match the card. Wouldn’t this make a great hostess gift or birthday present? You could add a gift card from your local coffee shop to make this gift even better. I didn’t get a chance to type up the instructions for the tin yet, but they are relatively simple. The belly band is 7 3/4″ x 2″ with a layer of DSP that is 7 3/4″ x 1 3/4″ that I glue down, then wrap it around the tin and glue together. Punch out the Night Of Navy tag layer and stamp the coffee beans. Add a layer of Purple Post Scalloped Linen Ribbon. Stamp the coffee cups in Memento Ink and color using Daffodil Delight, Purple Posy, and Night of Navy Stampin’ Blends. I did color a second coffee cup with the heart on it and popped it up to create additional dimension. Now punch out the coffee cups using the Label Me Fancy Punch and pop it up using dimensionals. Bam, you are done!
I like these projects; the layout was simple, and the color combination of Night Of Navy, Purple Posy, and Crushed Curry is my favorite. I guess anything with Night Of Navy is my favorite. It is an easy color to work with!
I will post the customer appreciation cards I made for this month’s orders on Friday using this Press On Stamp Set. It is super cute as well. Now go grab your crafting supplies and get creating!Happy Stamping!
