Hello, and welcome back! Today I am sharing this Handsomely Suited slimline card & envelope I made using the Well Suited Suite of products from Stampin’ Up! for Man Card Monday!
Making slimline cards are so much fun! With the larger 3 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ cardbase, you have a larger canvas to create with! For this card, I used the bow tie image from the Handsomely Suited Stamp Set and Basic Gray ink to create the background by offsetting the stamped image in each row. I found it was best to find the center of the cardstock and stamp that image first and work my way to the top and bottom edges to achieve a balanced pattern.
Once you have the stamped background completed, you can then glue down the three triangled-shaped DSP pieces to the card front. To cut my triangle pieces, I used a die from the coordinating Suit & Tie Dies. If you don’t have these dies, you can use the Stitched Triangle Dies or cut one using your paper cutter.
After I had the Well Suited Designer Series Paper pieces glued down, I wrapped the Night Of Navy & Basic Gray Bakers Twine around the center of the DSP and tied a bow. The sentiment was stamped in Night Of Navy ink and punched out using the Label Me Fancy Punch!
