Hello, my fellow crafter, and welcome back! Today I am sharing a birthday card I made using the Enjoy The Moment Stamp Set from Stampin’ Up!.
This will be a speedy card for you to try. I needed a quick one since me and the hubby are on our way out the door to get some much-needed R & R over at the coast for a couple of days.
First, you will need to create a mask for adding the Pear Pizzazz ink. I used a window sheet and cut the center out of it to create my template. You can also use some Post-it Tape along the cardstock’s edge to mask off the center area. Then I grabbed my blending brush and the Pear Pizzazz ink and bushed on the ink until I was happy with the effect. Make sure you start off the paper when you are applying the ink, or you will end up with a harsh edge in your ink.
After I finished adding the color to the center of the cardstock, I stamped the seed pod image using Soft Suede ink onto the Pear Pizzazz center. Then without reinking the stamp, I stamped the image two more times around the bottom edges. Re-load the stamp with the Soft Suede ink, stamp off the image once on scrap paper, and then stamp it two more times. You can watch the video below to see how I finished the card.
