I like to make my DSP if Stampin’ Up! doesn’t have one in the colors I want to use as I did on the card. I wanted to use Daffodil Delight as my base color and all the DSP I was contemplating utilized Crushed Curry, so I made mine. I used the images from the Thoughtful Blooms stamp set that is available right now as a free item in the SAB catalog for a $50 order.

I stamped the images using Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Melon Mambo and the beautiful Gorgeous Grape inks. I started by stamping the Daffodil Delight flowers, then stamped the leaves to see where I needed to fill in with some of the smaller flowers. Once I completed my DSP I attached a Melon Mabo piece I cut out using the Ornate Frames Dies, isn’t it lovely?

It might be hard to see in these pictures, but I used the Layered Leaves 3D Embossing Folder to add a little dimension to the Daffodil Delight layers. That was just the missing piece to finish the card. What do you think, beautiful, right?
